Jim Leveque has more than 10 years of engineering experience in advanced communication and signal processing algorithms in software and hardware, including communication and propagation algorithms. He also possesses expertise in data communications architecture, satellite communications, and semiconductor technology.

Specific experience includes:

  • Satellite Communication Systems, including link modeling and characterization
  • Communication and DSP Software (Object Oriented C++ to embedded C)
  • Modulation and Coding, including spread spectrum, phase modulation and convolutional coding
  • Wireless Communication, including IS-95, GSM, and space-time coding
  • Digital Signal Processing, especially for communications and radar
  • Optical Communications, including free space optics and propagation
  • Network Architecture analysis, including network, transport and data-link layer protocols
  • Jim holds a patent in laser satellite communication technology.
